Hard Rock Café’s new ‘Messi Burger’, featuring the football star’s favourite ingredients, was launched simultaneously across the world – and Cab Campaign was challenged with making some noise in Manchester’s busy food and drink scene - especially given that [at the time] Messi played for Paris St Germain and not City or United.
Based on our knowledge of the local media and previous campaign experience, we tailored the templated [US written] release and invited our influencer ‘ambassadors’ and closest press contacts to experience, film and taste the burger for themselves through exclusive invitations to fit in with their busy schedules, rather than plan an event and expect everyone to come on a set date.
